Founded in 2004, the company’s products are an efficient and convenient way to eliminate snow and ice accumulation around the home or workplace.  HeatTrak™ portable snow and ice melting products are an efficient and convenient way to eliminate snow and ice accumulation around the home or workplace.  The HeatTrak™ products are portable electric heating mats that lay over walkways, driveways, stairs, loading docks, handicap ramps, and many other surfaces, to provide a clean and safe passageway for foot, wheelchair, or automobile access.  They are an alternative to more traditional forms of snow and ice removal, such as shoveling, snow blowing, harsh chemicals, and embedded systems.  Unlike the alternatives, however, they do not require the effort of shoveling or snow blowing, preserve surfaces from harsh chemicals, and continuously melt snow and ice keeping surfaces constantly clear and safe.  In addition, they are less expensive to install than embedded snow melting systems and their portability allows them to be used in places where embedded elements cannot be used.  They are extremely durable and are designed to be left outside for the entire winter season.  They either plug directly into any standard 120V or 240V outlet using an equipment leakage circuit interrupter (ELCI), or they can be hardwired into an electrical junction box.  They melt up to 2” of falling snow per hour and cost as little as 60 cents a day to operate (depending on the cost per kilowatt hour).

Underlay Snow Melting Mat for use under existing entrance mats.  The Underlay Mat is a smooth surface thin heating mat designed to lay under existing entrance mats.  It has a smooth rubber surface, easily fitting under any size entrance mat and is designed to be left out for the entire winter season.
